- Shake the gin and lime juice in a shaker filled with ice
- Double strain into a chilled cocktail glass
- Strain into an Old Fashioned glass full of ice
- Garnish with a slice of lime on the rim
History:
This cocktail was probably popularised by British sailors in the 19th century to help combat scurvy
